It’s a unusual scenario to put another persons characters in, but there is a reason behind this.
First off the characters are the creation and property of this very talented young lady: and the picture was created for a friendly art contest on the NDA Forum .
Now the reason the elven characters in question (I.e Turu and his daughter Selene) are in such a horrible predicament is two fold. (look at me sounding like I actually know what I'm going on about).
One because after running through Manamaraya's gallery I noticed she does enjoy to torture poor Turu (depending on certain moods it seems), and so I thought, what would be a pretty bad situation for him?
The solution I came up with was to put him in a situation where his daughter was in danger (the worst case scenario for any parent... who actually cares about their kids).
And the second reason for this scenario is because I liked the idea of Turu being in the classic hero angst position (you know the part where the hero is all beat down, but then he turns super angsty, gets a second wind and starts to handing the bad guy's asses to them.).
Also a scene where Turu is fighting to protect his daughter just stuck me as a suitable idea for a picture, because he struck me as a kind of protective farther like character, who would do anything to keep his daughter from harm.
So there you have it, both characters in danger in the presence of an unknown group of.. um people I guess (I don’t know enough about Manamaraya's world to put a name to the attackers, but my guess is they must exist, so this picture isn’t too far fetched for the characters)
My only hope is that Manamaraya likes it, and isn’t annoyed that I put her characters into this kind of situation.
PS: yeah I know the anatomy is out of whack on both Turu and Selene, this is partly because I suck ass at drawing people.
;3; homg!!! Words cannot express how AWSOME I think this is!! *cries with happy* This is a very very likely situation for our poor Turu and his beloved daughter! Aww D: I hope they both get out of it okay! this is awsome ;3; thank you!

No problem, heck it was fun drawing Turu and Selene, since it gave me a chance to try out some new techniques, I'm just glad you like the picture.
And I deffinitly think they'll get out of it ok, I mean look at the size of Turu's sword (plus nothing gets in the way of a hero when he's all angsty like that, it just makes him twice as badass).

I fully agree with Turu protecting his daughter like that. I know I would, if I had a child.
